Short Biography

Daniel Filipe Albuquerque is a PhD student in Electrical Engineering at the University of Aveiro. He receives his diploma degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Aveiro in 2007. His final year project was a Location System based on Ultrasounds. He receives the 1st Plug Prize from APRITEL in 2010 and 3rd Prize in Technological Realization in Audio Engineering from the Portuguese section of Audio Engineering Society in 2007. His main research interest is in the development of signal processing tools to ultrasonic location systems, musical instruments for special needs and music therapy and software defined radio systems. He is a student member of IEEE and AES.
