Covers speech and audio technologies and the sciences that support them. In speech, areas such as speech analysis, synthesis, coding speech recognition, speaker recognition, language modeling, speech production and perception speech enhancement. In audio: transducters, room acoustics, active sound control, human audition, analysis/synthesis/coding of music, and consumer audio.
It was published between 1993 and 2005. Since 2006, the title changed to IEEE Transactions on Audio, Speech and Language Processing.
