From IEETA
On the 1st October 1999, the Institute of Electronics and Telematics Engineering of Aveiro (IEETA) was established in Aveiro (Portugal). It is a private non-profit-making scientific association made up of the University of Aveiro, the Fundação João Jacinto de Magalhães and the GrupUnave. Within IEETA, is the Research Unit 127/94, approved by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).

Location
IEETA is a research institute at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. The IEETA building is located on the University Campus (Campus Santiago), very close to the Department of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from downtown Aveiro to the University Campus.
