2017/05/03: ISPA Prize for Research in Psychology and Behavioural Sciences 2017

Once again, the quality of the work resulting from the collaboration between IEETA and the Department of Education and Psychology, at University of Aveiro, was recognized by the scientific community.

Nuno Gomes, first author of the work entitled "Beware the Serpent: The Advantage of Ecologically-Relevant Stimuli in Accessing Visual Awareness", recently published in Evolution & Human Behaviour, was distinguished with the ISPA Prize for Research in Psychology and Behavioural Sciences 2017. The award, recognizing the scientific merits and impact of the published work, authored by a young researcher, has been co-authored by IEETA's researcher Samuel Silva and Professors Sandra Soares and Carlos F. Silva, from the Department of Education and Psychology (DEP).

Nuno Gomes is currently at the William James Center for Research, having started his PhD, but the collaboration with IEETA and DEP is still quite active with some interesting new results. So, stay tuned!
